Earlier this year two revered electronic dance music icons merged to create one of the most eagerly anticipated music projects to date—Kx5. Kaskade and Deadmau5 have announced their latest collaboration: the debut of Sun SoaKed & Friend5, an all-inclusive destination festival.
The multi-day event—set to take place at the Four-Diamond Paradisus & Fiesta Americana Resorts in Cancun, Mexico from December 16-18—is taking the best elements from Kaskade’s Sun SoaKed event and deadmau5’s We Are Friends festival for one combined star-studded weekend on the warm beaches of Cancun.
Sun SoaKed & Friend5 has unveiled their lineup for the massive weekend which includes performances by Deadmau5 and Kaskade, Adventure Club, Green Velvet, J. Worra, Laidback Luke, Malaa, Redux, San Holo (DJ Set), Sohmi, Testpilot, William Black, WTF?, Austin Millz, Callie Reiff, Dave Summit, Lipless, Lokii, and Oddkidout. Because the new festival is a combination of both artist’s biggest destination events, those interested in attending should act fast. Room availability is limited, say the festival organizers, and tickets will sell out soon.
All-inclusive packages for Sun SoaKed & Friend5 include a three nights at either resort with all meals and drinks(yes, this includes alcohol, too), transportation to and from the resort, and access to every show throughout all three days of the weekend. Attendees should note, that the all-inclusive pricing for SoaKed & Friend5 does not include flights.
Attendees will enjoy an array of pool parties and fun-filled after parties with sets from a few surprise guests still to be announced. For those who wish to take it easy, Mexico’s warm beaches await you—leisure on the sand or in the pool at one of the amazing Sun SoaKed & Friend5 themed-event venues along the beachfront strip of la Zona Hotelera, a popular destination with plenty of nightclubs, shops, and authentic Mexican restaurants to explore.
Sun SoaKed & Friend5 is also offering plenty of add-ons for those adventurous ravers: which includes catamaran expeditions, tours through ancient Tulum, and trips to Mexico's iconic Cenotes, catamaran sailing, and scuba diving.
