Auris Presents Announces All-New Heatwave Music Festival in Chicago
Auris Presents has worked hard to establish itself as the dominant force for electronic music events in Chicago in the last few years. As the minds behind ARC Music Festival and exclusive promoters and buyers for Radius, Concord Music Hall, and Prysm Nightclub, Auris builds upon decades of experience in dance music to bring prominent DJs to the windy city weekend after weekend. They’ve just announced a new venture that will expand their footprint, Heatwave Music Festival taking place July 16-17, 2022.
Heatwave is an immersive, pop-art-inspired event that will bridge the gap between experiential art and the biggest dance acts in the world. Headlined by the likes of Tiesto, Above & Beyond, Galantis, Zeds Dead, and RL Grime, the lineup has no shortage of great talent. Heatwave festival will also welcome a variety of visual artists and creatives who will mesh with patrons in Douglas Park.
Of course, there will be no shortage of house music talent at the Chicago festival. Oliver Heldens, live duo Goldfish, Dr. Fresch, J. Worra, and rising Space Yacht star Ranger Trucco are also on the bill.
The team behind Auris Presents includes industry veterans, performers, and club owners that have been a vital part of Chicago’s dance scene for decades. When they expanded their business to include ARC in 2021, it made waves across the country for focusing exclusively on underground music and emphasizing the roots of house and techno in Chicago. Art was a pivotal part of the production at ARC. Its three stages were creatively inspired, unique, and well designed. This new venture will see them expand on that idea while catering to the broader span of dance music fans.
Tickets for Heatwave go on sale May 13th at noon CST.
