Gray Area's OCHO Returns to Sirius XM on Diplo's Revolution
GRAMMY-award winning producer Diplo continues his collaboration with Gray Area, the leading experts in house and techno with a brand new installment of OCHO. Powered by Sirius XM radio, this latest episode will be airing on Revolution radio on April 23rd. Featuring over eight hours of uninterrupted, exclusive sets by today’s hottest house and techno acts from around the world. Expect to hear unreleased IDs and brand new remixes of songs from the likes of: Yaya, DJ Chus, Franky Rizardo, QRTR, Anna Tur, Mason Collective, and Themba.

Yaya
Tamango Records label founder Yaya is a tastemaker who brings his African roots and Italian taste to everything he plays and produces. Coming off an energizing house set in Lisbon, Portugal, Yaya has unveiled his latest EP via TwoAndThreeRecords, Magma. True to most of the artist’s discography, Magma’s energy is a palpable one—with high-intensity kicks, african drums, rhythmic high-hats and absolutely booming bass, this is one EP you need to add for all your functions this summer.
DJ Chus
The founder of Stereo Productions, Redolent Music label, and creator of the “Iberican Sound,” Chus is unstoppable. Often featuring melodic, percussive rhythms, and jubilant drumming, the house producer’s take on the genre is a unique one that is easily identifiable in any set. Exuding a warm tribal flavor between the syncopated rhythms of house, is DJ Chus signature sound. With three decades of experience behind the decks and in the studio, Chus is a true music industry veteran. He has remixed tunes for world-renowned artists like Madonna and Shakira, and recently founded a new independent record label, Redolent Music, to cater to an ever-evolving music industry and develop emerging house artists.
Franky Rizardo
Holland-born DJ, producer, and LTF records label boss Franky Rizardo is one of the most revered Dutch DJs right now. Well known for his extensive live sets and their infectious grooves, Franky has graced the stages of We Are FSTVL, Defected Croatia, and this July he’ll host his own stage at Tomorrowland. QRTR
This Brooklyn-based DJ’s music has been described by DJ Mag as a meeting between “art house film composer and basement rave.” Often staying within the realm of house music but not being afraid to venture into downtempo or experimental soundscapes, you can expect to be dazzled and delighted by QRTR’s vibrant DJ mixes and bewitching original live sets. Her latest album, infina ad nausea, has garnered support from BBC Radio 6’s Tom Ravenscroft, The Wire Magazine (UK), Paste Magazine, XLR8R, Bandcamp Daily, and more.
Anna Tur
Hailing from Ibiza is Spanish house and techno DJ Anna Tur. Although she only began producing original music over the last two years, Anna has DJ’d at many of the world’s biggest international clubs and festivals for over a decade. Her very first DJ gig was playing as a guest for club resident Camilo Franco at Space Ibiza in 2009—since, the Ibiza-native has continued to stay true to her island roots, managing Ibiza Global Radio and founding her own label, Illusion Music.
Mason Collective
Composed of Blair Suarez, Adam Myles, and Omar Guedar, Mason Collective is an energetic trio with an enthusiasm for performing like no one else. Their brand MVSON and its events, each one laden with a different theme and dress code, has quickly become one of the most celebrated underground parties in Manchester. Armed with a loyal following, the Collective has played and hosted stages at some of the world’s most well curated including Creamfields, Sonar, and Hideout.
Themba
South African DJ and producer Themba rose to the international music stage in 2018. Forging melodic and soulful elements from his African roots, Thema’s sound is a distinctly different take on electronic music. The artist has been featured in Mixmag, Deep House Amsterdam, and his lively radio mixes have aired on Pete Tong's show and Apple Music's Beats 1. In 2019, Themba threw down across Europe, performing at Brixton 02 Academy, Luciano & Friends in Tulum, Paris Fashion Week and at Miami Music Week alongside Black Coffee who also shared a residency with the artist at Hi in Ibiza and Mixmag Lab Live in NYC. Supported by Adam Beyer, Pete Tong, Hot Since 82, and Damian Lazarus, Themba is one act not to be missed.
Westend
In the ever-evolving US house music scene, Westend is creeping up as one if its mos potent and fast-rising stars. With a penchant for lucious grooving basslines, and slick percussive beats, the New York native has pushed his way to the top of the Beatport charts. In 2021 alone he released “Keep On Jumpin’” on Repopulate Mars and “Get This Party Started” on Glasgow Underground, both sat in the top 10 for months and earned him the title of 6th overall best selling tech-house artist and 10th best over selling artist over the last year.
