Lollapalooza's Announces Stellar 2022 Lineup
Lollapalooza just dropped its entire lineup, which means summer is getting closer and festival season is about to be in full swing. The lineup is stacked with 170 heavy-hitting names spanning all genres, including alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock, hip hop, and electronic music—all set to take over nine stages July 28-31st in Chicago's Grant Park.
Mainstream headliners Metallica, Dua Lipa, J. Cole, Green Day, Doja Cat, Machine Gun Kelly, Lil Baby, and Kygo will perform alongside stellar stand-out electronic music producers, including Bob Moses, Kaskade, Polo & Pan, Duke Dumont, CloZee, and Chi-town native John Summit.
Other names on the bill are just as sensational. This includes artists like LP Giobbi, Evan Giia, Wreckno, Jax Jones, Habstrakt, Bijou, Hannah Wants, and Maddy O'Neal.
Lollapalooza was one of the first big music festivals back last summer. They scrambled to keep up with changing vaccine and mask requirements. This year, the Department of Public Health said Chicago would work closely with organizers, but it's too soon to determine what Covid measures will need to be in place. So there is a chance if things stay as they are, we will have our first summer of mask-free bliss.
