Today, September 8th would have been Avicii's (aka Tim Bergling) 32nd birthday. Google is celebrating the life and music of the genre-defining DJ and producer with a temporary change to the Google logo on the search engine's home page. The doodle also links to a music video beautifully illustrating iconic moments in his life.

The genre-defining DJ and producer's music touched the lives of so many in the dance music community and around the world. His music defined an era of dance music history and his command of melody was unmatched. In his short time on the international stage, he produced numerous hit records, performed on festival stages around the world, and touched the hearts of an entire generation of dance music fans. The accompanying music video created by doodle artist Alyssa Winans is set to the music of his 2013 hit with Aloe Blac, "Wake Me Up."

The doodle is released in conjunction with "World Suicide Prevention Week." Bergling tragically passed at 28 after a long struggle with his mental health. His father Klas and mother Anki started the Tim Bergling Foundation in his memory, to help erase the stigmas that surround conversations on mental health among young people.
