The genre-blending festival that features a stacked weekend of hip-hop and dance music is finally back! After being canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic and then postponed in 2021, artists will finally hit the stage at Audiotistic Bay Area, November 20-21.

Although the original 2020 lineup looked slightly different Insomniac still pulled exciting acts for the annual romp at the Shoreline Amphitheatre. Festival-goers can catch sets by household names such as Claptone, Alison Wonderland, Slander, and (Bay Area native) Jauz. While these scene-dominating artists are sure to gather a massive crowd, attendees should slide through for the earlier sets that host a lineup of truly incredible DJs and producers. Here are the top 5 rising artists you won’t want to miss at Audiotistic Bay Area 2021.

Most teenagers are satisfied with passing algebra and hanging out with their friends. Meanwhile, Moore Kismet (neé Omar Davis) is crafting unique and energetic bass beats and becoming a change-maker for dance music.

The 16-year-old wunderkind has already earned the title of the youngest artist to play at massive festivals such as Lollapalooza in Chicago and EDC Las Vegas. As a black, nonbinary artist, one of their objectives is to fully and unapologetically represent what dance music was founded on, black and queer culture. Their soundscapes filled with experimental trap and melodic bass will be gracing the Audiotistic stage for the first time in their career.

Starting out with her debut single, “Alien Invasion”, back in 2015, Nostalgix has kept her foot on the gas, having played clubs and major festivals all over the world. This last weekend she made history and played the first female B2B set at the Circuit Grounds stage at EDC Orlando, alongside fellow female artist, Wenzday. As a female producer in a male-dominated industry, Nostalgix is making an impact with energizing sounds, exhilarating stage presence, and infectious energy.

Some might consider Nathaniel a breakout producer and DJ, but his love for music is deep-seated. He credits his brother for introducing him to music by teaching him to play guitar at a young age and his dad for switching up his musical taste by exposing him to house music by the likes of Carl Cox, Sasha, and Tiesto. The Angeleno actually went to his first EDC with his dad at the age of 16 back in 2010. This is where things clicked for him, where he knew he wanted to be behind the decks making people dance. With unwavering support from his family, he was able to achieve the goal of playing at EDC in 2019, where he entertained masses of fans at a memorable closing set at the StereoBLOOM stage - sharing this tremendous milestone with his number one fan, his dad. You won’t want to miss his thick grooves and hypnotic rhythms.

The pink-haired, Phoenix native is equal parts passionate and skillful when it comes to creating energizing house tracks that will make you feel the bass in your body (booty?). Having started her musical career as a violinist, she decided to shift from classical to electronic music when she enrolled in a three-month beginner course at Dubspot in Los Angeles back in 2015. Blossom has shared that her musical path has been heavily influenced by bass house superstar, AC Slater. Her synth-driven flair and unique basslines come together to make undeniably danceable tracks.
