Dirtybird Holds Mix Contest to Play Couchout 2020 Stream

Freak house favorites Dirtybird have one of the most loyal fanbases in the industry, so when Covid quarantine dictated it cancel its intimate Campout festival this fall, the beloved label made a quick pivot to livestream. 

No doubt fans will flock to the week-long broadcast, Friday to Thursday, Oct. 2 to 8, and as a big “we love you” to its supporters, Dirtybird will open a slot on the stream to one lucky DJ - and it could be you.

In partnership with streaming partner OnNow.tv, Dirtybird has announced a mix contest to find emerging talent and fill that slot. Label founder Claude VonStroke and fan votes will decide the winner. 

To enter, DJs must register on OnNow.tv and submit 30-to-60-minute sets by Friday, Sept. 25. DJs should then follow OnNow.tv and Dirtybird on Instagram and rally fans to vote for their submission as soon as Saturday, Sept. 26.

On top of playing the official Couchout 2020 stream, the winner and two runner ups will receive two tickets each to the next Campout festival - whenever that should happen - as well as a Dirtybird merch pack and a spot as a Featured Livestream Creator with OnNow.tv. Winners will be announced Friday, Oct. 2.
