Alesso joined a laundry list of dance music superstars and jumped into the NFT game. The collection named "Cosmic Genesis," comes in three separate drops, ranging from free NFT's to one of one tokens. It all culminates on November 4th with a performance at New York's Terminal 5 for Metapurse's Dreamvrese, the very first NFT art and music festival. Metapurse is the world's largest NFT investment fund.
Built around a series of video clips divided into four chapters, fans and collectors can opt-in to receive a special Decoder NFT. The decoder allows you to decipher a series of cryptic clues revealed via Alesso's Instagram throughout October. Those that correctly decode Alesson's hidden message will also unlock exclusive collectibles and curated experiences from the EDM star along the way. It all leads up to the final Chapter I Gold tier NFT, released on October 14. The Platinum, Diamond, and single-issue NFTs will drop during Alesso's performance at Dreamverse.
The series of videos and exclusive art were created by Rough Draft Studios the animation house behind Futurama, The Simpson's Movie, Napoleon Dynamite, and over 300 half-hours of prime-time entertainment. They've created a warped far-off galaxy soundtracked by the dynamic music of Alesso.
The drop was produced in collaboration with OneOf.com, a green NFT platform built for the music community. They launched in August of 2021 during the iHeartRadio Music Festival with a 26,000 token drop helmed by Doja Cat. In the colection was a one-of-a-kind item that sold at auction for $188,000, the largest transaction ever for Tezos, the platform OneOf is built on.
