Another successful EDC Las Vegas has come and gone, but Insomniac isn’t taking any breaks. This weekend, they continue their reign over the dance community with their largest festival on the east coast, EDC Orlando  .

Each year, attendees can expect to enjoy multi-sensory experiences as they absorb the various stages, carnival rides, theatrical performers & dancers, and 3D art installations. But due to its cancellation last year from the global pandemic, festival-goers expect Insomniac to go harder than ever. Not to mention this year was EDC’s 25th Year celebration and its  10th anniversary in Orlando. Insomniac is celebrating the best way they know how, by putting together one of the biggest lineups to date.

"Over three days, an eclectic mix of more than 120 dance music acts will take over the celebratory return of one of the most vibrant and electrifying editions of EDC," the festival said. "From dance music’s strong roots in Florida to the explosive energy the city of Orlando brings, the iconic music festival will showcase many special moments..."

Even with the lineup in alphabetical order and the same font size, big names such as Tiesto, Kygo, and Zedd stand out. In an industry dominated by male talent, festival lineups typically feature more men than women. But if you look deeper into this year’s lineup, you’ll see a good representation of female artists. These women have broken gender barriers, paving the way for other female artists to follow. In the name of dance music, they prove anything is possible. Here are 10 female artists you need to see perform at EDC Orlando this year!
